Blue Eyed Beauty

We are fortunate to be so close to the beautiful city of Cambridge and have been commissioned to work on some fabulous properties there.

The family of this large town house situated on a surprisingly quiet road just outside the city centre, have lived there for more than 20 years.  During this time they have made some considerable improvements, the most recent being a large kitchen extension to the back of the house.

As well as increasing the size of the room, bi fold doors were fitted across the full length of the outside wall, allowing the room to open out into the garden.

Then came the bespoke kitchen and Baker & Baker designs were chosen. The client had a clear idea of how the kitchen should look and how it should work and together, we were able to achieve the desired effect.

The island features a curved breakfast bar.

The chrome, leather seated stools are perfectly suited.

Large and spacious but not cavernous, this room has a lovely feel about it.  The sun floods in through the bi fold doors and the large sky lights above but even on a dull day, the white walls and light limestone tile flooring make the room bright and airy.

One of our favourites, this Classic English kitchen was designed and made for a new build in Cambridgeshire

So much light and space makes the room incredibly welcoming and comfortable

Kashmir White granite works wonderfully with the English oak cabinets and the 'Drab' paint from the Farrow & Ball collection

Simple yet elegant

Our classic English design painted in white with pewter handles and hinges and granite worktop. 

The contrasting dark tile floor works well with the light cabinets, whilst the bright red glass splash back over the range oven adds a dash of colour. 

The central island offers additional working space and a seating area to relax with a coffee and the paper.

Bold is beautiful

Be brave and add strong colours to your kitchen like this Island unit painted in Shaker Red. 

Choose a lighter colour, such is taupe on the matching cabinets for a striking contrast.
