Cherry wood adds warmth to bedroom en suite

Variety is the spice of life as they say and we get plenty of that at B&B. It's what I love about what we do, every project is completely different from the last.  Like this beautifully understated bedroom suite in Cherry wood.

The room features an independent central wall partition which helps divide
the room and give extra space allowing for a double bed on one side and
a half height wardrobe on the other

The frameless double bed has drawer storage, built in side tables and a floor
standing headboard which tapers at the top

Suspended dressing table with concealed make-up drawer

His & hers vanity unit in cherry wood to match

Two large double wardrobes frame the entrance to the en suite

Something new for B&B......

Apologies for the lack of posts this week but it has been crazy busy here.  Whilst the team are out fitting another beautiful creation, Graham and I are working through a number of client designs AND drawing up plans for the next showroom piece! A brand new kitchen design in preparation for the arrival of a 3 oven range from Aga which will be fully operational and available for demo's just as soon as it's up and running.

Aga own photo

Very exciting, the new display will look amazing with some interesting features and something different for the counter top. It's so rewarding when things come together, we can not wait to see in place!

Rustic twist

Incredibly simple yet most appealing with it's neutral colours and rustic worktop and flooring.

This kitchen was designed for a young family in their country house who wanted a relaxed, spacious area to cook and entertain family and friends staying at the weekends.

The counter tops are made from fumigated solid oak wood and finished in Danish oil.  They match the Rich Autumn slate flooring perfectly don't you think?

The client chose a traditional French farmhouse style for the main sink and this copper under-mount with matching copper tap for the prep sink in the central island.

A painted glass splashback has since been added to this run which finishes the room off nicely.

Biblical Kitchen

Not one of ours sadly, but worth sharing as it's so different to anything we've seen before.

The more I look at it the more I love it - what do you think? Courtesy of the official independent blog for KBB, kitchendesigntank,  take a look.

How many to dinner?

One of our favourite tables, made for a holiday home on the Suffolk coast.

The owners wanted a table to seat 14, hence the length of over 3.5mtrs!  It's made from solid English oak with a clear satin lacquer finish.  No doubt many a seafood supper has been consumed around it since.
