Rustic twist

Incredibly simple yet most appealing with it's neutral colours and rustic worktop and flooring.

This kitchen was designed for a young family in their country house who wanted a relaxed, spacious area to cook and entertain family and friends staying at the weekends.

The counter tops are made from fumigated solid oak wood and finished in Danish oil.  They match the Rich Autumn slate flooring perfectly don't you think?

The client chose a traditional French farmhouse style for the main sink and this copper under-mount with matching copper tap for the prep sink in the central island.

A painted glass splashback has since been added to this run which finishes the room off nicely.

  1. As someone that is in the process of re-doing their kitchen... I say "yes!!!" to this one!

Can't wait to see more of your lovely blog!

  2. Thanks Kelley, glad you like it! One of my favourites, I have to say.
